Latoschinski Autoklavtechnik GmbH specialises in manufacture of pressure vessels, in particular for pressure vessels for autoclaves for the food, aerospace and building-materials industries.
The special hallmark of the Latoschinski Autoklavtechnik GmbH company’s autoclaves is their unique and state-of-the-art sliding-door system for opening them.
Its technical know-how allows Latoschinski Autoklavtechnik GmbH to keep pace with international competitors. We are able to guarantee that all our products comply with stringent German standards, in cooperation with internationally operating companies such as Lloyd’s Register and the German Technical Inspection Authority (TÜV) etc.
In August 2015 the valve division of Damko Ventiltechnik GmbH & Co KG was sold to the valve manufacturer Schubert & Salzer. With the sale, the name Damko also had to be relinquished and a four-year ban on segment plate valve construction came into force.
Damko Autoklavtechnik GmbH, founded in 2002, was renamed Latoschinski Autoklavtechnik GmbH in 2015. Since 2002, Heinz-Jürgen Latoschinski has been the Managing Director and sole shareholder.
Our first experience with autoclaves was gained in the 1980s in the building materials industry. The local building materials industry gave us the opportunity to automate the autoclave operation.
We subsequently developed our own DAKS control system specially for this purpose.
By repairing and improving autoclaves regularly over many years, we have established a very good reputation worldwide. This has led to the birth of new ideas for the improvement of autoclave closures – because that is something only possible through hands-on experience!
In 2000 we then applied our newly acquired knowledge by manufacturing our first autoclave for a building materials manufacturer in Kuwait. And because cellular concrete was introduced to the Middle East from 2000 onwards, there has also been a constant demand for autoclaves here as well.
At that time, we already had long-term construction sites in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. For this reason, the autoclave production was moved to Dubai in 2006. From there we supplied autoclaves to the UAE, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc.
An ideal conjunction of events in connection with the autoclaves also resulted from the fact that the corresponding Damko segment plate valves and the DAKS control system could be installed until 2015!
However, due to the continuing global economic crisis, the situation in the UAE also steadily deteriorated, so that we returned to Germany in 2012.
All segment plate valves, the DAKS control system and the now patented, fully automatic autoclave closures are exclusively developed by Heinz-Jürgen Latoschinski.
The four-year contract ban on the construction of segment plate valves expired on 1 September 2019. Heinz-Jürgen Latoschinski has already developed new parts for the construction of the proven and sought-after valves, which will doubtless also be reflected in future pricing.
